go hand in hand! Join us for some of the
best celebrating this side of the Atlantic as
we celebrate the "Luck o' the Irish," with
traditional Irish and Celtic music from February 28 - March 17th.
We'll be serving up special beers including our Susquehanna Stout and
Celtic Knot Irish Red. These are coupled with a traditional Irish menu
certain to quench your thirst and tempt your palette. While you eat and
drink, we "step up" the fun a notch with traditional Irish step dancing
performances from the Rebel Heart Irish Dancers & Coyle School of
Irish Dance.
And just for one last shot of Irish cheer, join us on Saturday, March
21st after the Harrisburg St. Patrick's Day Parade for one last blast!

Join us at Confit French Bistro for a Wild Game Dinner
presented by Chef Matt Black, featuring beers paired by our very own
Brewmaster Artie Tafoya. The dinner is Wednesday, March 4 at 6pm at Confit. The dinner is $65 per person or $120 per couple
The menu is awesome! Enjoy rabbit, pheasant, boar, elk, bison and
more, paired with our Belgian beer specialties and other fine ABC
products. Artie and Matt will also present beer & food
pairing discussions and describe in detail, the products served.

ABC
is proud to announce the "Best of the Best" contest! All
non-professional brewers, 21 and older, may enter up to 3 beers in our
contest. All of these beers must be homemade for private, noncommercial
use and delivered to ABC's Camp Hill location the week of May 8 - May 15, 2009.
Contestants must supply a minimum of 1 bottle (minimum 12 oz. each) of
beer. Bottles must be clean and carry no other labels or
identification. Judging will take place in May and all beers will be
judged within the style entered, with the three "best of show" beers
being tasted in a final round and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The winner will observe and assist with the brewing of the winning beer
at ABC's Camp Hill location. Can anyone knock off the reigning two-time
champs John Slotterback and Fred Rogers? Start planning those batches

Celtic Knot Irish Red

Celtic Knot is a beautiful and buoyant red ale. It's toffee-like
malt sweetness give this beer flavor that is hard to beat. It
finishes crisp and clean with a moderate hop perception like the famous
red ales of Dublin. |

is famous for our three week Irish Fest leading up to St. Patrick's
Day. This gathering features traditional Irish music, step
dancing, food and Celtic Knot Irish Red Ale to round out the
festivities. |
On April 18, 2009 from 6-9pm, ABC Harrisburg will host Voo Doo Brewery and Victory Brewing for the ABC’s Big Beer Dinner Series - #1- 2nd floor Gallery.
The dinner is $50.00 (all inclusive) and limited to 78 seats and will
feature discussion and commentary by Brewmaster’s Matt Allyn, Bill
Covaleski, and Artie Tafoya between each course about the nuances of
the food and beer pairings.
The dinner will kick off
at 6pm with an artisan cheese display featuring Wisconsin, Cabot Cheese
from Vermont, and Pennsylvania cheeses. These artisan cheeses will
be paired with a 12oz ABC Tripelocity (7.8%)
At 7pm, we will serve a plated Idaho Potato Cheese Quiche matched up
with a 5oz sample of Victory’sV-Saison (7.5%) as dinner gets underway.
Next is a Spinach Salad w/strawberries and Georgia pecans drizzled with
Florida orange vinaigrette, paired with a 5oz Voodoo Love Child (10%)
Moving on, you will enjoy 3 entrees on a single plate:
- Beef
Tenderloin (done medium) with Jack Daniels Whiskey Sauce, garlic
whipped potatoes and grilled asparagus paired with a 5oz ABC’s Bourbon
Aged Porter (7%)
- Roasted Free-Range Chicken with wild rice and grilled asparagus paired with a 5oz Voodoo PILZILLA (6.75%)
- Kennett Square Mushroom Wellington with a grilled bell pepper medley paired with a 5oz Victory’s Golden Monkey (9.5%)
Almost finished, but not before we cleanse the pallet with watermelon
sorbet. You'll want to be ready for the finale...Dinner concludes with
Hershey Truffles (dark and milk chocolate), paired with 5 oz Voodoo’s
Big Black Voodoo Daddy (12%). After dinner any remaining Victory
and Voodoo beers will be sold for take out!
